BIOG OF DOOM
Disco of Doom are a dynamic duo producing the sickest sounds and destroying dance floors around the planet.
2010 saw the duo release remixes for some of the most respected names in dance music: Etienne De Crecy, P Diddy, Kele (Bloc Party), Crookers, Silver Columns, Does It Offend You Yeah?, Taley Riley, John Aquaviva, James Yuill and David E Sugar. The ‘Doom also delivered their own tracks to much acclaim on some of the best international labels, such as Southern Fried, Sunday Best, Moshi Moshi, Moda, Gung-Ho! Discobelle, San City High and B-Unique.
This year they’re continuing to focus on their own productions with great results.
The ‘Invader EP’ released on Discobelle Records in May garnered support from Annie Mac, Jaymo & Andy George, Alex Metric, Brodinski, DJ Zinc, Mixhell, Bart B More, Evil 9, Japanese Popstars, Douster and many more. Currently they’re preparing for the launch of their second EP for Discobelle Records, set to hit in October. Featuring three slamming tracks, the EP has already received support on Radio 1 from Moda Records bosses Jaymo & Andy George
Following headline slots at Glastonbury (Arcadia Stage) Glade Festival and Electric Picnic, standout shows in the future include Sub Club in Glasgow, Dum Dum in Utrecht and a very special showcase at the Amsterdam Dance Event. With the new EP ready to drop on Discobelle Records in October and a whole host of remixes in the pipeline, 2011 is shaping up very nicely for the ‘Doom
